Rhino's Newsletter - May 2003

Apologies to all for the tardiness in posting an updated newsletter! Other events (holidays/business etc) have prevented me from putting pen to paper.
Anyway, here goes with some 'Saw news.

Last week we played a very enjoyable gig at Mr.Kyp's in support of The Larry Miller Band - many thanks for those of you who turned up to support us. Kyp & Paul really have got a nice scene going on down there, and I would urge you to check the club out if you haven't already done so.

An upcoming highlight for us is our Scottish mini-tour between 15th and 19th May. So far 4 gigs are confirmed (see gig list) with hopefully more to be added. A new Magic Bus is in the process of being hired, and to be frank, Dirk is beside himself with lust at the very thought. What with that and playing 2 Walter Trout songs on the trot the other night..

There is also a gig on Sat 14th June at Ringwood Football Club - tickets are only available via us, so please give us a shout if you would like to come on down.

We are headlining the Jazz & Blues Night of the "Bournemouth Live" event, taking place on Wednesday 25th June. We shall be performing on the main seafront stage at around 9pm, so please come along and support us at this large event!

Also a quick bit of pre-advice regarding the Christchurch Festival. We'll be playing the penultimate slot on Sunday 6th - probably between 5&6pm, preceding Lady Winwood's Maggot. We managed to worm our way in quite well there.

That's All Folks!
(Sorry - still haven't got over my vacation in Orlando).
