The time has come once again to produce an update on the mighty Saws activities.

As many of you already know we have recently produced and released our fifth CD “Get over it” which is available now from this very website and of course from us at gigs. The CD features a nice mix of songs ranging from AC/DC to Neil Young along with a couple of originals including the title track “Get over it”.

Dirk still seems to be getting more and more attention (if that is possible), from the younger element of our supporters. He tells us that they are only asking him for broken drumsticks and tips on how to do a triple flan whilst drinking two pints of John Smith’s. But I’m not sure; I think there is more to it than that. I am convinced that I have seen Dirk talking to Louie Walsh about the prospect of forming a new boy band.

The Rhino had a chuckle the other day when he overheard two obviously very well informed teenagers discussing his guitars, and pointing at one they were convinced was a fake. If Gibson ever find out about Epiphone I am sure they will take legal action.

Buff has also been the centre of a lot of attention lately regarding his position in the band, well anyone that has seen us recently will confirm that he is alive and kicking and performing as well as ever.

We will be playing on the front at Swanage again this summer and lets hope that our good luck with the weather holds as it is always a very enjoyable evening. Not every night in Swanage has always been so kind to us though. We played at the old Victoria club there one cold dark January evening and when I came out to load up my vehicle it was covered in seaweed that had blown over the sea wall as the waves crashed against it. Unfortunately there were no fish in amongst it.
